When I have visited our national parks (and other public lands) on trips, I always look on the internet for good places to take photos. I’d often find references to place names scattered around numerous places, but not a “guide” so to speak that has the information an amateur photographer like myself needed to just go have fun. So instead I usually took the approach of showing up and driving around happen stance. While that can be fun too, I always thought it would be nice to have a photographers travel guide too.
So I got the idea that perhaps I could put together a website that helped weekend photographers like myself maximize their time. I figured I’d start with three areas in my back yard (Grand Teton, Yellowstone & Glacier) and see how it goes. To fund the project I’m going to try out Google AdSense and with any luck maybe I’ll cover the cost of a trip or two.
Thanks for visiting!
